When times are tough - as they’re bound to be occasionally - it’s hard to see that we actually have choices.
It can seem like we’re stuck, that our options are non-existent and that we’re powerless.
Daily practise helps us to train our brain and our body to work with us, rather than against us, in times of challenge & of stress.
It’s a matter of perception and of understanding.
Our darkest most painful times can sometimes be our biggest and our brightest life experiences.
Step back, in quietness and in stillness, and truly feel what it is that you’re experiencing.
Don’t try to change it, just sit with it - observe - feel - and gently let go of the grip you have on the pain (and trying to remove the pain).
Your pain could arise from one of many things - fear, worry, anger, shame, guilt, anxiety,
Release your immediate need to try to fix things. Gently release the tension & the stiffness in your body. Let your body breathe slowly and deeply welcoming the oxygen into your brain and into your body.
Feel the relief, the calmness, the peace.
Within the space that you’ve created - flow, creativity and self love - little by little start to flood your cells, your very being, and you can start to think and to feel more clearly.
Don’t stay in the pain of the darkness, light your candle.
